While I was studying for my doctorate in theology at Foothills Baptist Bible College, one of the requirements was a 50,000 word thesis to be written on a subject chosen by me and approved by the administration of the college. I chose to write on “The Eternal Things in the Bible”. Our president, Dr. Tom Walker, told me that that topic was too broad and that I needed to narrow it down. He suggested I write on eternal security, so I did. I worked about nine months in actually compiling the material but it was the results of many years of being taught the Bible by godly men and hours of self study.

I submitted my thesis and received my degree. Dr. Walker then suggested that I have it published in book form, so I did.

After much prayer and with some changes in the format, and a few additions to the original thesis, the book was published in 2022. The book is a careful, biblical study of the doctrine of eternal salvation. My prayer is that it will bring glory to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and will be a blessing and help to all who read it.
